I would like totalk about the parads before the festival.
Parade are veryfamous and popular in October fest. Parade is hold twice...onece, at the beginning of the first day and second is hold the beginning of the second day.
The second parade is bigger and more famous. It starts 10 o'clock on the second day. many kinds of German groups from various areas dress up with their traditional costumes and march the 7 km way which is made in the Myunhen. Most of them are German but there are many groups who are from Italy, Austria, Switzerland and so on. The mayor of Myunhen and Premire of Bayern states also join riding the carriage. It takes about two hours to watch it from the beginning to the end but it is very interesting. The parade has been done since 1950 and it s now one of the high lights in the festival.
